Kodiak Mark 3
-Mark
Three - this is the most common kodiak, fitted to SIIAs from around 1962 on.
These had a very similar core/blower to the mark
2 but the coolant fittings were in a different spot and the distribution box
is different.
The distribution box is much shorter than the Mark 2 and is
contained entirely in the passenger footwell. It
has a large vent operating knob/lever to control windsheild vents.
Heres a mark 3 sporting the correct windsheild vents and original
finish on the heater.
Heres the whole setup, control knobs, heater, vents etc for
a mark 3. This truck is probably a late 1966
with the later steering wheel. The Control knobs were new for the MK3
and they continued on with the Mk4. The panel that they are mounted to differs
from the Mk4 unit in that its smaller and is normally mounted below the dash
or to the panel for the dual oil/temp guage as seen here.
