The owner of this 1964 SIIA 88 wanted to be able to use it for a daily commute. Living in a large city this meant it needed to be able to sustain 70+ mph and cruise in relative comfort. He chose a GM 3.0L 4 cylinder conversion for the powerplant offering double the power of the original engine. With a brand new overdrive the finished vehicle ought to cruise comfortably at 75+ with 85+ well within reach. A full body off respray, new suspension, wiring and interior will make this truck a pleasure to drive.
