This is an ambitious project. The dream of many rover enthusiasts will be realized right here at Pangolin4x4. We will be building a series 3 109 pickup entirely from new components. New frame, new firewall, new body, new engine, new transmission . . . you get the idea. There is no "donor car" all the fittings and parts which you would normally reuse on a restoration are new. A unique project you wont see being built at other shops.

Here you can se the rolling chassis built onto a new genuine land rover parts frame.

NOS axles, new suspension. If you see it, its new.

New transmission with the latest series rover casting, new driveshafts.

NOS 2.25L 4 cylinder.

This is the new old stock 109 tub which will be fitted. It has never been used on a vehicle and is a complete replacement unit from an old dealership. A really rare peice.

Here you can see the factory tire mount still wrapped in cosmoline from the factory.

Fuel filler assembly, comprised of 15 seperate NOS components all which had to be located seperately. Complete with genuine hose clamps

From the outside, correct 3 prong cap.

NOS fuel tank, complete with new pickup tube, sending unit, foam buffer and hardware. The genuine had to be welded on as saddle tanks were an option for series 3 109s, most had rear tanks. Since we have an early NOS tube, it needed to recieve the saddle tank.

NOS rad panel, NOS apron, sterring arms relay, radiator tie rod ends etc.

More vintage goodies, NOS latch, electrical warning plate and other details

Complete NOS 4wd linkage down to the anti rattle spring

As we start to get the firewall built up for the installation of the dash and controls, the firewall is getting all new genuine inserts so that everything fits corrfectly

Genuine hood buffers can be hard to come by.

More to come including:

-The Bulkhead

-The Mountain of NOS components.

-NLA parts FOUND!
